I DO WHAT I DO BEST: DAYDREAMING

20090608

Hello again!

Sorry to say, but I'm not saying hello to you, but to my friend Cindy who arrived this evening from Kuwait . Wow, it's been 1,5 years since she left and I miss her! she used to be my classmate in X-4 and we did lots of crazy things together, but my favorite was 'kejar-kejaran sehabis ulangan bahasa inggris' which is a bit cruel for certain girl but it's a great memory I think ; )
after that, we acted like total strangers in Jakarta (me, buli, adiz and silmi) and took photos at the airport, it was fu-u-u-nnn! I just knew that there're vending machines there at the airport. you only have to pay 5000rupiah and you get what you want hihi norak sekali ya?
While we're waiting for Cindy, I remember that hey, I'm in arrival gate, am I? so I remember this quote -I don't remember everything, just "whenever I get gloomy with the stage of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at the Heathrow airport......" so I kept saying it until my friend said, "stop!" but a few seconds later, i'm saying it again : D
here's the complete line:
Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the
world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's
starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't
see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often, it's not particularly
dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and
daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the
planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know, none of the phone calls from the
people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of
love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaking suspicion... love actually is all
around
.
