The Beatles Is As Simple As That

I never quite a fan, till last year or maybe even 5-6 months ago. Last year I went to London, and after Madame Tussaud's, because we're in the famous Baker Street (yes, where Sherlock Holmes lives) we decided to take a walk before going to Oxford Street with the group.
Just then my friend said, "I guess there's a Beatles store around here. I saw the sign earlier." And we serched for it. We asked people in the tube station, even our tour guide didn't know about it, and then, just like a treasure buried in the sand, we found it, The Beatles Store.
That's why I started to listen to their songs.




One thing I love about The Beatles is their simple words that can be such a beautiful song which won't grow old. All you need is love is absolutely my favorite.

Thom: Look, other bands, they want to make it about sex or pain, but you know, The Beatles, they had it all figured out, okay? "I Want to Hold Your Hand." The first single. It's effing brilliant, right?... That's what everybody wants, Nicky. They don't want a twenty-four-hour hump sesh, they don't want to be married to you for a hundred years. They just want to hold your hand.

Wait for me.........

Someday, when I get to go to Europe again, I only have one plan: visiting museums. Yeah right, you see the S ? When I said museums, I mean the coolest art museum/gallery in Europe, including Tate Modern and Louvre (d'oooh) and everything along the way.
I even planned the 5 days tour around the Louvre, I said it to my Mom, and offer her to wait outside : )

I have the best museum experienced in Musee d'Orsay, Paris. Itu pertama kalinya gue datang ke art museum yang kereeeennnnnnnnn bangeeetttttttt!Ketika di London, Shakespeare's collection overwhelms me but here, Van Gogh win it all! Di London, gue nggak malu-malu jongkok di depan sebuah lemari kaca besar di British Museum karena disana gue menemukan sederet buku kuno dengan judul-judul karya Shakespeare. Gue gatau sih itu asli atau bukan, tp who cares?

Di Musee d'Orsay, pertamanya gue udah super bete karena harus naik tangga kalo mau liat-liat karya Van Gogh. Sebenernya dalam hati gue berpikir bahwa semua ini sia-sia! Toh dibawah banyak lukisan yang keren-keren and I am not into classic art, tapi gue paksain juga karena udah jauh-jauh dateng kesini masa nggak liat lukisan Van Gogh.
Di lantai atas itu gue kepisah sama temen-temen gue karena sibuk ngeliat-liat, sampai akhirnya, dengan kemampuan baca peta gue yang (katanya) diatas rata-rata, gue menemukan sebuah koridor yang bersambung ke sebuah ruangan yang penuh dengan orang. Gue langsung buru-buru masuk, dan............................

I found it! I found Van Gogh's artworks! Yippiiiieeee!

Tanpa basa-basi nggak tau malu, gue serobot aja orang-orang yang lagi mengagumi karya Van Gogh, dan sibuk foto-foto. Baguuuusssss bangeeetttttt! Gue suka warna-warna yang dipake, menurut gue, semuanya cerah ceria bahkan untuk lukisan yang menggambarkan suasana malam seperti La nuit étoilée (dibuat tahun 1888), disitu memang warna dominannya hitam/biru tua, tapi gue suka banget gambar bintang-bintangnya, kayaknya seneng aja liatnya gitu ; ). Gue paling suka lukisan yang judulnya La chambre de Van Gogh à Arles (dibuat tahun 1889), menggambarkan suasana kamar tidur Vincent Van Gogh (gue bahkan beli replikanya di Volendam!)

Gue nggak jadi ke Musee du Louvre, dan itu saaaangaaatttt menyedihkan! Tadinya sih mau kesana habis dari Disneyland, tapi karena rombongan gue udah telat makan malam jadinya dibatalkan. HUhuhuhuhuhu, Madonna of the Rocks, Monalisa, wait for meeeeee! Gue akan ke Louvre ikut tour 5 hari, biarin deh mata gue kekeringan liat classic art daripada seumur hidup nyesel, hehehe.

P.S: maaf nggak masukin gambar, karena sudah malam koneksi internet tidak mau bekerjasama dengan baik sama Giuseppe, hehe.
