I think this is quite important

as my friends know very well, I have a huge huge crush with football players, I mean look at them in their jersey, in the field, or when travelling with their team, in a suit! man, nothing looks better than footballers in suits.
anyway, I'm making this Finest Five list, originally from kickette, a website that writes about football from women's perspective (ya know what that means: thighs, bromance, baller babies, WAGs, etc etc)

5. Raul Albiol

Raúl Albiol Tortajada, was born in Vilamarxant, Spain, on September 4th, 1985. He currently plays for Real Madrid, transferred from Valencia this summer. Albiol plays for the national team too, and won the 2008 Euro with them

4. Gerard Pique

Gerard Piqué Bernabeu was born in Barcelona , 2 February 1987. He joins Barcelona canterra but moves to Manchester United in 2004. In 2008, he left United and came home to Barcelona where he won the La Liga, Champions League, and Copa del Rey.

He is also plays for the Spain National first team

3. Xabi Alonso

Xabier Alonso Olano, was born in Tolosa, Spain 25 November 1981. He plays from Real Madrid transferred from Liverpool this summer. He is Spain's second captain.
He is known for his ability to read the game and delivering long-distance passes. He's often cited as being among the best passers in all of football.
Fanfic maker often paired Xabi with his old Liverpool's captain, Steven Gerrard, this is because of their bromance on and off the pitch

2. Nicklas Bendtner!

Nicklas Bendntner might be the only one here that wasn't from Spain.
He was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, January 16th 1988.
Nicky plays for Arsenal and the Denmark national football team.
Last monday, he got in a car accident on his way to the training ground (I almost cried reading the news) which was a huge shock for him that's why he can't play against Olympiakos.
In our community, he's known as the ladies man, and also the one who gets drunk and left the club showing off his man panties : D

1. Iker Casillas Fernandez!

Iker Casillas Fernández was born Mostoles, Madrid 20 May 1981. Plays for Real Madrid and Spain. He is Real Madrid's second captain and Spain's first. On the Euro 2008 semi finals, he plays really well by stopping 2 penalties from Italy's Antonio Di Natale and Danielle De Rossi.

He just received an award from IFFHS for the best Goalkeeper of the year 2008

He is also the first goalkeeper + captain to lift the Euro trophy!

Iker is also an ambassador for Plan Espana, a children's organization working in 48 countries around the world. Iker went to Peru and Mali with Plan and help them with the charities
